I just discovered your video of about 2 years ago on the bra-cancer link. BRAVO! You did a great job of capturing the essence of the issue and its politics.
I am the co-author of Dressed to Kill: The Link Between Breast Cancer and Bras, which you show in the video.
You are spot on with your suspicions of corruption. I write about this, and offer new international studies which show bras cause breast cancer, in the Second Edition of Dressed to Kill, coming out in November.
Women have a right to know that wearing tight bras for long hours daily is a leading cause of breast disease, including breast pain, cysts and cancer. In a way, it’s a consumer rights issue. Women get washing instructions with their bras, but no wearing instructions. And even the lingerie industry says 85% or more of women wear too tight a bra.
But in a culture where money is more important than health, and where the lingerie industry and the cancer detection and treatment industry make tons, this issue has been suppressed for the past 25 years, denying women this vital information.
It’s great to see in your video that you understand. Hopefully, women seeing your video will be helped.
