This is my 14 yo calico cat Annie. I adopted her from my work and local veterinarians office. She had been living in a cage off and on for 3 years. She was adopted out two times, but both of those owners passed away. (I wondered at the time if she was evil, but I don't really believe in that stuff) then the third time she was adopted, the lady didn't like her because she was grumpy and bit sometimes.
But I would see her every day after work, and I felt so bad leaving this beautiful old lady of a cat, alone in that little cage... I just had to take her home with me. And I'm happy I did, she is my best friend! Yes she is grumpy because shes in pain, and she bites me daily, and pees on clothes or towels that I leave on the ground. and yes, she requires really expensive food that i can barely afford, because of her health issues.
But she reminds me of myself in a lot of ways. I'm grumpy sometimes because of my health issues, and i makes mistakes. I also like expensive food even when i cant afford it (because sushi is life!) But I still forgive her and love her completely, no matter what. and I'm never going to abandon her. Because that's what families do, #ohana “Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten”
(also she saved me from a 'intruder' one time. Dm me if you want that story, or more pictures of her, because yass, admit it, she is adorable haha)
anyways, there is my long rant about my cat #crazycatlady

I know how you feel about cats and I honestly feel the same way about my cat. It’s a love hate relationship. His name’s Paxton and the way we got him was that one night my Dad hit him while driving at night cause the kitten decided to run across the road. So we took him to the vet and he was fine. So now we have a lil jerk.
